Diagnostic Ultrasound
We use diagnostic ultrasound to accurately diagnosis foot, heel and ankle conditions.
An ultrasound is a diagnosis method that uses a special probe to take an image of your foot in order to determine your foot condition. The probe emits sound waves into your body tissues, which are returned to the probe once reaching your body tissues and converted to an image. This image is used to diagnose and determine treatment for your foot condition.
Diagnostic ultrasound is one of the two types of ultrasound used and is a non-invasive imaging technique for soft tissue that is used to diagnose foot disorders. Therapeutic ultrasound, on the other hand, is used to assist in the treatment of soft tissue conditions and offers many restorative benefits.
